THE VISION OF THE SOUTH

"Make no small plans: This is the vision I have for the South. I believe that one day the South will baptize more people into the church than all other English speaking missions in the world together....We will see the time when we will baptize hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands...In your day you will see a million members of the church in the South. There will be temples plural in the Southern States. What a great call you have to serve with these marvelous people." President Spencer W. Kimball

Weather Alert

Weather Alert...NO CAR DAY TOMORROW
Sent Date: Monday, January 27, 2014

The current forecast calls for the possibility of 2 to 3 inches of snow with probable road closures. Just to be safe, missionaries are not to drive tomorrow, unless otherwise authorized by me or the office elders. You can work in the area around your apartment, use your bikes (be very cautious), walk. You will need to move your district meetings in some cases to a different day of the week. The weather is supposed to improve on Wednesday. For districts that can get to the church buildings on bikes, you can have your district meetings as normal. The interviews I had scheduled for tomorrow will be moved to later in the month. Just like a hurricane warning, it is better to be safe and ask the Lord to bless us with other tender mercies and miracles that will come of a change in the way we go about finding on a winter day.
